Statement of Faith

I believe in Elohim… God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  United and one, yet each is distinct, as clearly brought forth in scripture.

I believe Yeshua is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  There is no other way to the Father, but through Him.

I believe Yeshua is God’s voice (the Word) made flesh. He was the spotless lamb of God, the final sacrifice, that humanity would once and for all be cleansed from sin, free from bondage, brought out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light. I believe as new creations we can once again walk in a relationship with Elohim… those who embrace this finished work, surrender their lives, and submit to Yeshua as Lord.

I believe the books and letters in the Bible are Holy Spirit-inspired.  I do not believe the Bible provides all one needs for victorious living… this comes from living in an intimate relationship with Elohim, for whom His heirs are a tabernacle. God is not confined to the limitations of a book, for He is still speaking with His sons and daughters today. Holy Spirit is our teacher, our revelator.  Revelation is still pouring out for those with an ear to hear, receive, and walk in truth.

With translations, there is the opportunity for error.  Sometimes it has to do with cultural/societal influences at the time of translation, sometimes it has to do with the dictates of those in power, all the way down to the simplest of things such as not having a word in one language that equates to the word in another, so substitution occurs, resulting in a shift in the intent or meaning.

That being said, it is wisdom to learn all we can from the pages of the Bible. Yet in doing so, one goes to Elohim, asking for revelation and that what we read would be framed in truth, for it is the truth that one knows and walks in that brings freedom.

By all means, study the Bible, but even more importantly, sit at His feet and study Him. Learn of Him, with Holy Spirit as one’s teacher. Allow Elohim to introduce you to themselves, through a relationship of intimacy.

I believe deliverance, healing, the miraculous, and all the gifts of Holy Spirit are functioning and flowing today.

I believe in the baptism of Holy Spirit, with evidence of speaking in tongues and that this is available to every born-again believer.

The “great commission” was added later… it is not in the original texts.  Therefore, as a representative of and reflection of Elohim in the earth, we are to share (by word and life style) the good news, the gospel, that all can know YHVH through the the redemptive work of Yeshua. I believe that each member of the Body is able to say, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.”  Isaiah 61:1-4, KJV

Above and beyond Isaiah 61, Yeshua stated in John 10:30 that He and the Father are one. Later He states, “As I am so are you in this world…” (1 John 4:17) and “…Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them…” (John 21-22).  “As I AM, so are you.”  There is much revelation in this statement, which can be mined with Holy Spirit.  As sons and daughters, led by Holy Spirit, we are to be the express image, the carriers of resurrection life, shifting atmospheres, bringing truth and light wherever we go.  Just as Yeshua, saying and doing what the Father was saying and doing, in oneness, we can walk in tandem with Elohim, doing the same.

I believe God set the five-fold ministry in the Body, for the building up and maturing of the believer. Those set in these positions are not meant to take precedence over another’s personal relationship with Elohim, nor what the Father and Holy Spirit are speaking to them.  Each believer is to take personal responsibility for their relationship with God, pursuing the level of intimacy they hunger for, and walking in the revelation received.
