Sample Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please forgive me for not walking humbly before you. I have been choosing my own path, my own way. Lord Jesus, please forgive me for removing myself from Your Lordship, Your authority, and setting myself as ruler and master. Holy Spirit, please forgive me for grieving You. You never leave me, You are the seal of my salvation, and yet, I have not submitted to Your leadership, guidance, teaching or conviction. Please forgive me for seeing myself as my source, making decisions according to my own understanding and reasoning, and not acknowledging you in all things. Please forgive me for sinning against and grieving all of you.
Lord Jesus, please wash me with your precious blood, and cleanse me. I repent, and choose to believe and walk rightly, hand in hand with you.
I choose to submit myself to You, Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. I choose to walk humbly before You. I choose to obey You, because I love You, and cannot bear to do anything else. Please teach me Your ways. Please give me an ever increasing knowledge of Your love for me, and Your resurrection power that is in me. Please give me an increasing understanding of Your grace which empowers me to be who You have called me to be and do what You have destined me to do.
I submit to You, none other. Be my Master, be my Lord. I choose you alone. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for never leaving or forsaking me. Thank you for making me Your own. Thank you for Your forgiveness, and the washing of Your blood that ever makes me clean.
