Sample Prayer:
Jesus, You are My Lord. Thank You for saving me, cleansing me and freeing me with Your blood. I submit to you as Lord and King.
When You left this earth, You promised You would send a gift to believers… the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. Jesus, please baptize me now, with the Holy Spirit and fire, just as You did in the upper room, releasing in me the manifestation of that gift with evidence of speaking in an unknown tongue. Thank you Jesus, for this gift. I receive it now.
