IMPORTANT: I have taken the Message Translation off this list of recommended versions, but it may be in the video, which will need to be redone. I NO LONGER recommend this translation. In comparing scripture, I have found the Message is infiltrated with deception of New Age beliefs throughout its translation of scriptures, twisting the Word, removing truth, and the power thereof.

Additional Translations I have on hand that I explore: (Some of these I have had for 40 or more years; original printings at that time and very old. I do not know if all of these are still in print, but could possibly be found on second hand, online websites).

  • The New Testament an Expanded Translation by Kenneth W. Wuest
  • The Worrell New Testament by A.S. Worrell
  • Willams New Testament by Charles R. Williams
  • Modern Speech New Testament by Richard Francis Weymouth

Gateway Bible (https://www.biblegateway.com/) and Bible Hub (https://biblehub.com/) provide online access to all of these translations and many more.
