“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation…” (Matt. 12:25). Strong’s Concordance says this means to lay waste, bring to naught. Thayer defines desolation as: to despoil one, strip her of her treasures.
There has been an assignment released over the Body of Christ. An assignment meant to divide, and then conquer by using believers as pawns in the hands of the adversary, to destroy each other through weaponized arrows of slander, judgment, and strife, which is the beginning of every evil work.
Be aware. Do not be deceived by the thoughts of the enemy toward your brother and sister in Christ. Pray for them not from your thoughts, but in the Spirit, by the Spirit. God draws us unto Himself with kindness. Truth, yes. Truth released in love, brings correction and realignment, producing life. Holy Spirit brings conviction, and as our teacher, then instructs, will lead and guide.
We choose to be self ruled, or have Yeshua enthroned in our lives. One brings death and destruction, the other brings life. The operations of the adversary have not changed since the garden. He entices and seduces, hoping people will live from their reasoning and understanding, placing themselves on the throne, rather than being led by Holy Spirit, and surrendering to the heart and desires of God. Choose well.
Offense is deceptive. It temps one to place themselves in the “right” and the other in the “wrong”. Do not be deceived. Forgive, and ask Holy Spirit if there is anything in you that places you in a position to be offended, asking Him to bring that to light. Jesus said (John 14:30) the enemy had no claim over Him. Offense could not attach itself to Him, in Him.
The Father was speaking with me while I was driving over the weekend. He randomly stated that to say, “I will take the high road” is a perversion and distortion of the truth. After asking Him what He meant, He further said, “I will take the high road, which means there is a lower road. When one says they are taking the high road, they are placing themselves above another… who is one the low road. There is one road in the Kingdom. That road is love. Either one is walking in love, and from love or they are not.” Humility is a facet of love, pride is not, nor is judgement. May all things be done in and from love.
The Spotless, Beautiful, Glorious Bride will be not just walking, but dancing and rejoicing as she walks on this road, His road. He is love. Keep your focus, heart, eyes, on Him and ears tuned to Him as Commander and Chief, and you will find you have no time for distraction, for these who do this will be surrendering themselves, to be used by Holy Spirit in prayer for the Body.
LOVE – 1 Corinthians 13 (Passion Translation):
If I were to speak with eloquence in earth’s many languages, and in the heavenly tongues of angels, yet I didn’t express myself with love, my words would be reduced to the hollow sound of nothing more than a clanging cymbal.
And if I were to have the gift of prophecy with a profound understanding of God’s hidden secrets, and if I possessed unending supernatural knowledge, and if I had the greatest gift of faith that could move mountains, but have never learned to love, then I am nothing.
And if I were to be so generous as to give away everything I owned to feed the poor, and to offer my body to be burned as a martyr, without the pure motive of love, I would gain nothing of value.
Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance.
Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense.
Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no delight in what is wrong.
Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.
Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent. Love remains long after words of knowledge are forgotten.
Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away.
When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways.
For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood.
Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run.
